You and me, let's connect

So today I met a guy (and later a girl) and I started the conversation with something like

“Hey how tall are you?” (to the guy, and he was 197)

and

"Hey, your style is clean” to the girl.

That’s not the point

In the middle of both the conversations there was a silence

and instead of saying something I kept silent

not as a technique, but just to see what happened.

It was during this silence that both the guy and later the girl starts getting nervous

(I feel it too) and focus on looking at the other person and relaxing

Right after, our conversation got so much more intimate.

The guy started following me on YouTube and I told the girl to have a great day (I have a girlfriend here)

and they were both thanking me for the conversation.

Imagine you approached someone and after five minute of talking, they are super into you.

Anyone

Attractive girl

Business man

Someone you want a favor from

It’s not something you need to do, it’s enough to embrace the silence and the social pressure that’s being built.

Another important thing to remember is to allow the other person to go, meaning you don’t use it as a technique, but rather an invitation to connect.
