The secret of becoming better than others

it's not what you think.

Hey bro,

thanks for tuning in today.

I just had a short call with a student and wanted to check in with you.

How are you doing?

Good? Good

Not so good? Also good

However you are, it’s alright.

You’re not perfect, and that is OK.

Now, if you would like to be perfect, you can not fake your confidence.

Doing pushups, visualizations, and breathwork to feel good before a meeting

It would still feel fake

That’s why you want Authentic Confidence

Because it enables you to express what you’re feeling on the inside and allows you to be transparent.

This way, you go through your day wasting less energy by simply being who you are, while others are spending half their daily energy on keeping their mask on.

Feels good right?

Yeah, but then if someone else was being better than you at video games, being taller, or better games with girls, how would you feel?

Like they had more value, and then they could dominate you.

So you work on those things and become the best at Mario Kart, the #1 League of Legends player in the world, so everyone is now at your mercy.

But why are you doing that?

To keep yourself safe

It makes sense, but why do you feel the need to do that?

Because of your habit of imagining the worst-case scenarios, something you’ve done since childhood.

You thought it kept you safe, but the buildup of anticipation is only wasting energy and has you feeling threatened.

That’s why I’d like to invite you to become better than others, and when I say others, I mean all the moments when you stood on the balcony while the other guy was getting the girl

while you were 10 and the bully came and threatened you

All the time, you felt like you had to defend yourself and be more than others

to feel safe

The way you do that,

is by Saving your Inner Child from The Dragon.

and during the Raw Authenticity group call this evening, I will be guiding my students through a meditation, and for your benefit, I will record it.

If you want the recording, then tune in tomorrow,

See you then,

Edin
