- The frustration you feel
The frustration you feel
is an opportunity for your enlightenment.
Hey soldier,
It’s evening, and I’m writing you this e-mail while my girl is cleaning the mess in the kitchen.
What mess?
We were cooking steak and sweet potato fries, and while I was peppering the fries, the pepper bottle fell apart and all the peppercorns fell everywhere.
I felt the frustration
I wanted to scream
Curse the pepper and fall right into the victim mentality
You know what this is right?
“Why is this happening to me?”
“This is so typical”
“Fuck, such a shit event”
and so on…
Now, I have just done a meditation which I will share with you in a moment
that helps me not identify with thoughts & emotions and therefore take control of my mind
So what I did, was to take a deep breath, and accept the moment as it was…
because what else can a man do?
Suddenly, I’m cleaning, and we are laughing about it.
Then, I started to feel better than I did before the incident.
What?!
Is it magic? Or is it taking the opportunity for me to grow in life?
I think it’s a combination, hehe.
And what you can do, is to use those moments where you feel frustrated,
to not get lost in the thoughts and curse everything
and instead, realize that this too
is an opportunity for you to grow.
Into what?
The man you are capable of being
Fully present
Confident
and eventually…enlightened.
The meditation I do is called Isha Kriya. Sadghuru guides it, and here is the link:

Take care, and have a lovely evening.
