Imagine self-attacking

and 5 minutes later you love yourself

Hey man,

It’s late, but I promised you I’d share the details for the workshop this Sunday.

And I will, because I know how important it is.

A few hours ago I was out for a walk and despite talking with a few girls, there was one sitting at a table with her friends who I didn’t approach.

As I come home, I start thinking how much I lost

  • The growth

  • Meeting a cute girl

  • Date, potentially having sex

and instead of falling into the self-attack which used to take hours to get back on my feet

I close my eyes and do my inner-child practice.

After 5-10 minutes, I’m feeling better.

I open my eyes

Wow, not just feeling fine, but better than earlier

I give myself a hug

I love these moments of opportunity, but knowing much I resisted them

all the video games I would play, weed I would smoke and even girls I would chase and have sex with

just to not feel these emotions.

And I know you’re still there, in the battlefield, dealing with this on a daily basis.
