Frustrated with your time mangement?

1 easy and quick way to solve it

Hey bro,

it’s Friday and I’m cooking you up this e-mail while my pasta is cooking in the kitchen.

Time management pro?

Yes, but it has nothing to do with doing two things at once

it’s quite the opposite

and it’s not what you think it is.

I’m out during my lunch walk.

It’s cold, even though it’s Georgia because we’re halfway through October.

I intend to flirt with a girl on this walk, and as I stop to go over the road, I see her

She’s cute and is holding hands with her mother

As I’m about to go up, I notice something

The sun is warming my skin, but for some reason, I don’t feel it

I feel nothing

just tension

How come?

I’m thinking about what I will say, and then what I will do when I come back home

so while I’m about to approach the girl, my mind is cooking up ways to be efficient as I get home

what does this mean?

I’m not being present

not at all

I notice that I’m not enjoying the moment at all, and my vibe… is not good

Deciding to let her go I head toward home

and that’s when it hits me

“I’m standing here trying to get something done, instead of being here and letting it happen”

You know what I mean, right?

As a guy who wants to get better, you constantly push, have self-discipline, and never feel fulfilled

For what?

Validation, success with girls, and so on…

Why?

Because you will be better

then what?

Than now

you mean, Now?

Like the present moment

the only moment that exists

that’s been with you since the day you were born

and that, when you connect with it, seems to take every worry away

is that what you mean?

How can your Now become better?

It cannot, but it can deepen

and it does that by relaxing and letting go of the outcome (like we talked about yesterday).

That’s also when you start enjoying what you do, and for some reason…girls become more attracted to you too.

I’ll end it with this:

“What if you were not behind, but ahead?
What if to become “better,” you need to BE because you’re so far ahead that LIFE needs to catch up with you?

Take a breather

Your guy,

Edin
