Feel upset about your morning routine?

Here is why and how to solve it

Hey Boss,

I just finished a call with my student and it was a beautiful one.

In 20 minutes I’m meeting my girl, but first, let me share with you something that can give you

  • More energy

  • More time

  • More Happiness

Bold promise, I know, so bear with me.

As you’re a guy who is into self-development, you likely have some type of morning and evening routine.

Maybe some meditation, journaling, and physical activity…and did someone say cold shower?

This is great because these are all habits that can be great…until they are not.

This is what I mean

If you are doing your routine, just to do it, but you don’t enjoy it and you rarely look forward to it

then you’re starting your day off on a downhill.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m all about eating the frog (doing the difficult task first)

But if every day starts with doing something that upsets you, then you’re wasting time and energy on something that could instead get you closer to your goal.

Those affirmations, pushups, and speech exercises was great in the beginning, but somewhere along your journey, it lost its purpose.

Here is what I recommend:
If you’re already a structured guy, doing most of the things you say you will and your days are focused on doing one thing and then the next in a “Nazi” style

Then scratch your morning and evening routine

Start fresh

If you reacted to that with fear and “but, what if…” then it’s a good sign you’ve just been invited to something very exciting.

Start with 1 thing, something you look forward to (not scrolling Instagram), and see how your days will feel more joyful.
