Do you wake up with self-attack?

Here is a 5 minute self-love booster

Hey man,

I just got out of a call with a student

actually, no, I just did a guided meditation and feel great,

but before that we had an amazing call.

He’s been hesitating to approach girls, overanalyzing what could go wrong and then losing the moment.

Then…the self-attack starts.

Now, he’s a part of Raw Authenticity and lately we have been practicing how to love yourself in a way that the self-attack stops.

I’ll teach you this in just a moment, but first let’s celebrate him.

Because it used to take him hours, sometimes days and WEEKS, just because he didn’t approach a girl or because he sent a wrong text.

A few days ago, he hesitated and lost the opportunity and when the self-attack came, it took him ONE MINUTE to feel good again.

Can you imagine failing at something, and then a minute later you feel great?

It’s taken me years to learn this, and now after working 1:1 together for less than a month, he already gets it.

That is the power of sharing.

And now, I want to share with you a 5 minute booster so that when the self-attack hits, you know what to do:

I call it, the 5 minute self-love booster

It goes like this

When your self-attack starts, for example
“I hate the way I am”
“Why did I say that?”
“I should not have said that”

then you do not resist these thoughts.

What you resist, persist.

Instead, send love to these thoughts.

Why?

Because by doing so, you will see that this self-attack is coming from a place of hurt and by loving it, it goes away.

It’s like a little child who is saying mean stuff. If you argue with him, it’s only getting worse, but if you smile, send love and give it a hug - he gets quiet.

It takes a bit of practice, but once you get it down, your mornings will feel lighter.

You’ll wake up and feel excited about your day.

So before we go out and talk with that girl, let’s give some love to that inner boy.

Take care,

Edin
