David Goggins + Eckhart Tolle = True
It's the NEW way of becoming the best version of yourself
Hey man,
I’m going to share something special with you today.
First,
I’m considering recording a/couple video(s) about me picking up girls while freestyle rapping to an instrumental beat.
Would that be entertaining to watch?
Anyways, I want you to imagine with me
David Goggins and Eckhart Tolle are having a baby
Surreal to even imagine right? But let’s go with it
The baby is OK with who it is, meaning there is little to no self-attack, guilt or shame around its desires
while at the same having the winning mentality of wanting to push into uncomfortable situations to become the best version of itself.
What would this baby look like?
Well, we have ChatGPT, so probably something like this:

Powerful, looks like a modern Buddha
Anyways, the visuals are less interesting than how the self-talk would be.
On the way home from kindergarten,
the baby (now a boy) sees a cute cat.
He wants to go and play with it but also feels scared about being bitten or scratched
The self-talk would likely not force him into doing it, or saying that he did not have to challenge himself
no, because he is a powerful baby from Goggins and Tolle, the self-talk would be something like
“I know it’s scary because the cat can hurt you. Still, we would love to play with it and face this discomfort, even though it feels uncomfortable. How about we go close to it and sit down, and then very slowly try to play with it?
Amazing, right?
Can you see how the baby would both get a lot of things done in its life while at the same time enjoying the journey?
This is also possible for you
and it’s the new way of becoming the best version of yourself.
It’s a combination of being self-compassionate without escaping into comfort.
Seeing the girl in the store, metro, or wanting to reach out to someone, but feeling the discomfort?
Self-love your way into taking action
That’s it for today,
Edin
